Become a Mentor

Our main goal with our mentor program is to make a positive impact with the UHCL student body. Being a mentor is not only a good thing to have on your resume, helping others often brings great self-satisfaction. As a mentor, you will be responsible for one to two mentees, meeting biweekly to discuss mentee concerns. To become a mentor, you must meet the following criteria:

1) Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

2) Remain in Good Academic Standing

3) Be an active member of SFMP

4) Obtain a Letter of Recommendation from UHCL Professor/Faculty

5) Attend SFMP Monthly Meetings
